My spelling for week 1 and 2.

L8.6: I can explain that words have a history and can be broken up in to different parts (Latin and Greek, etc).
Words originate from a lot of different languages, so it’s sometimes necessary to understand where different words come from. It can also help you understand the meaning of some words.
Example 1: From Latin miscellaneus, from miscellus “mixed,” from miscere “to mix”
Example 2: From Latin submergere “to plunge under, sink, overwhelm,” from sub “under” + mergere “to plunge, immerse”
I can attach a file/picture.
To attach a file, such as a picture to an email, first you find where it says “compose mail” and click on it. Next, you look under where it says “subject” and it will say “attach a file”. You click on that and then you find the file in your computer and BAMMM! There you go.

L 8.4 I can use puncuation when and where appropriate in my writing.
I think it’s important to use correct punctuation when writing, so that people get an efficient idea of what you’re saying. I think I’m pretty good at understanding where to put punctuation, and what everything means. Punctuation is fantastic.
L8.5: I can spell correctly.
I really like spelling because I’m good at it. It’s really easy for me because I practice a lot. I think spelling is important, because if you’re not good at it, people won’t know what you’re trying to tell them. Sometimes it can be hard to do but other times it’s fun.
